In this second part, we are going to deepen and target the healing we need to accomplish in order to make space for your quintessence.
STAY WITH US
In an Inner Space Patterning, focusing on what you want to feel is a great way of laying down new neural pathways, but firstly we need to find the specific wounded pain points from our past. It can hurt to look back on deep emotional wounding from childhood, but this is the only way to heal ourselves fully so we can bring in the more positive feelings we want to feel. Anything else is spiritual bypassing —a band aid solution.
Feel it, heal it and reprogram it.
Remember, once you heal your past wounds you can more easily draw in new love, worth, abundance and plenty to your life. This is a universal law of attraction: clear the old and draw in the new. Except in this case the incoming will be drawn in more mindfully because it will be aligned with your quintessence (we go into this the next chapter, but don’t skip this part).
ANSWER
Now we are going to target areas of pain, shame or low self worth using the Inner Space Patterning. Know that we are trying to find more specific moments of pain in your life, from your childhood, to heal.
Before you begin:
What wounds are coming up for you right now, today or the last few days?
What is the feeling that is trying to come through? Try and locate it in your body and give it a name.
Does it have an age? (young to around 14 years old?)
What are the beliefs attached to this wound?
How does this feeling manifest in your interactions with those around you right now?
Does this feeling keep you small?
LISTEN
Lie in a calm and quiet place where you won’t be disturbed and put a pillow over your eyes. Have a pen and paper at the ready to take notes.
ANSWER
What age or event came up for you?
How did that past version of you feel?
Who was she reacting to?
What did she need?
How can you draw parallels to your life now?
Deconstruction and Reconstruction
When you’re targeting moments of pain from your past this is known as deconstruction work. It’s powerful work, and you need to be extra gentle with yourself. Let loved ones know that you may be more needy, cross, sad, irrational or demanding in the coming days. Reach out to a friend or a therapist for extra support. Know that old feelings will cause discomfort if you haven’t felt them for a long time. Know that you are choosing to heal.
Try this mindset:
You’re wearing your hardhat and carrying a torch as you journey into your own underworld. You are brave and courageous and in control of how much you want to see and feel and find. Getting back in control in this way is a good way to balance out any feelings of victimhood that are coming up right now. (Be careful of taking on the victim role, as it will only take you so far. Ultimately we all have the will to heal ourselves and live from an empowered place).
If you feel hopeless, lost or sad, know that the effort you put into this work will reap rewards — sharper, brighter and happier neural pathways. Repetition is key. Fall in love with the feeling of your brain changing and morphing into a wellspring of good feelings. Do these wound-targeting ISPs as much as you need, know that you are tilling the soil of your psyche, making space for your quintessence (in the next chapter).
