The London EDITION

London is still delighting us with her chilly mornings, blossoms and endless cups of tea. We are loving the lighter skies, sprinklings of snow and catching up with old friends.

Right now I am so into Kundalini yoga kriyas. The simple routines of breathwork and postures get you quickly into a feel good state. There is a kriya to make you enchantingly beautiful, which I’ve been doing — and loving. Winter is hard work and this sequence clarifies my skin and eyes. I feel sparkly afterwards.

Right now we are loving these ideas and products:

i) The School of Life is such a great place to visit. They have a range of books and resources to help your create better relationships at work. They also sell cool homewares and knicknacks.

ii) I am loving this.

iii) Tea at Maison Bertaux is a trip down memory lane. I used to sit here as a 20-something downing pots of tea and writing in my journal.

iv) After this we go to Covent Garden Neals Yard to stock up on aromatherapy and these yummy Eucalyptus Pastilles and throat salve.

v) Why didn’t I know about London Review of Books? This is the most enchating little bookshop near the British Library. Bonus: they do lectures with greats such as Leïla Slimani, Anne Enright and Rebecca Solnit. Smaller lectures take place in the bookshop on little chairs. Bigger events are done here.

vi) Going to the theatre is always a treat. We like to get last-minute tickets at the Royal Court Theatre or see what’s happening in the West End.

vii) Honey and Co do delicious Middle Eastern salads in the bustling little enclave north of Soho called Fitzrovia.

viii) I am obsessed with Haeckels skincare range. I mentioned this last week and wanted to say that they are opening a new store on Broadway Market in London Fields. Based on seaweeds and elements from the English coastline, their range is completely eco and mindful. Their founder is a pioneer too, developing circular-economy materials such as packaging made from seaweed.

ix) Be calm my beating heart.
